You will be working in a large financial organization located Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The domain you will be working is responsible for the infrastructure environment of the organization. Furthermore, this team is responsible for hosting the physical datacenters and installation of VMware to ensure that an the organizations private cloud works in an efficient manner. As a Software Engineer you build applications to support other teams within the organization..

Functieomschrijving
  • Building and supporting applications in the infrastructure, using Golang;
  • You will be responsible for developing API’s;
  • You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, using Azure DevOps;
  • You will be migrating old services to new services;
  • Setting up and maintaining logical deployment testing using best code practices and security standards;
  • Maintaining an end to end approach of the IT operation process of the team.

Functie-eisen
  • You have HBO or University education;
  • You have hand on experience as a Software developer;
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience with backend development using Java, C#, C, or object oriented programming languages and willing to mainly work with Golang;
  • You have experience with the development of API’s;
  • You are able to read and translate VB.NET code;
  • You have experience with Azure DevOps or any CICD tooling (nice to have);
  • You have experience or affinity with VMware (Virtualization) - nice to have
  • You have experience or affinity scripting or configuration tooling (Ansible, PowerShell) etc;
  • You are eager to learn and can work in a fast paced environment;
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • Holiday pay 8% of gross annual salary;
  • 25 Vacation days + 0.5 bonus day per quarter if you have remained fit and healthy (read: do not report sick);
  • Travel allowance 19 cents / kilometer;
  • E-learning portal with (almost) all IT training and education that you can propose;
  • 50 euros for medical expenses (you can count gross on top of your salary!).
